Just pictures!

I have no time. I should be in the tub right now having my me time. I can't survive without my me time. I've been washing bedding and catching barf all day. I have had sick kids every thursday for the past 3 weeks!  FUN! So I am a bad blogger.  What's new!  My laundry is never caught up my bed is rarely made and there always seems to be a dish in the sink.  That's life right! Allison had her 6th birthday party and got her ears pierced.  She is so beautiful and growing so fast.  Gina had her baby. She named her Shelby Ann and she is so fat and cute already! Ruby is being blessed next Sunday, Andy is getting married in March, Gracie is turning 8 and getting baptized and then Gina will be blessing her baby.  I don't have any idea how we are going to fit all of that into the first part of this year but it is all fun and exciting stuff!

Having sick kids is no fun!! Your post sums up life perfectly, bed rarely made, dishes in the sink, and laundry never caught up...I am glad that I am not the only one who has struggles to keep life together! :)

You should see my house on most days. There are days that Dave comes home from work and both me and Jaren are still in our PJ's. Good thing Dave understands how much work being a mom is! Your girls are growing up so fast I can't believe that Gracie is going to be 8! CRAZY!

Oh man I hate looking at your blog! Sounds mean, but it's only because I miss you and your beautiful girls! Ruby is such a cutie! She has changed so fast!

Grandma's Tile Table

Grandma's Tile Table

Tile Table

When my Grandma Johnson's house was being cleaned out we came across some extra tiles from when my Grandpa had tiled her kitchen for her. She loved blue and I'm sure she was delighted when He put up these blue white and brown tiles. Her kitchen was always where family congregated, as she was an excellent cook, and we all spent countless hours there with her and Grandpa. I remember a time when I was pregnant and my Mom and I had driven up to Provo to do some shopping. We talked about going to see grandma before we drove home and I said "Wow, you know I am really craving her apple pie right now! Wouldn't that be awesome if she had baked one today." Well as luck would have it we pulled up just as it was coming out of the oven. She didn't even know we were coming to visit! She had just felt like baking a pie. I have a zillion memories of her in her kitchen and so when her house sold I knew I needed a little piece of something that would stir up good feelings every time I looked at it. Nothing could be more perfect than tiles from her kitchen. So a couple of days ago I finally dug the tiles out and made a mosaic table for my front porch. I love it, and love having a little reminder of her.
