Monday For Valentine's FHE the kids and I made heart shaped pizzas and Valentine hearts for JR. I asked them to write why they loved him on their hearts. Allison said "because He fixes things" and Gracie said "because He loves me. " Sweet!
JR wasn't supposed to be home until Saturday but He surprised us and showed up Friday night! I was so happy to see him. He had been gone for 16 days! He surprised me with flowers and a trip to the spa, which was really sweet!
While He was here this week we were kind of busy but we made time to take the kids to the Aquatic Center in Lehi. That was the first time we have ever gone there. They have an indoor kids pool with slides and water squirters and all of that fun stuff. And they have a little lazy river and some other fun things. The kids had a blast! We will definitely go there again soon. Every day since the kids have asked if we are going back.
JR left this morning. WAAAA! The 14 day countdown begins. Time for me to figure out which project to work on while He is gone. I have a ton to do, but I am in the mood for something fun so we will see.

This is Gracie and Allie's closet. This is after I just cleaned it! It's a disaster. No rod to hang the clothes on so they are perched precariously on the edge of the shelf and they fall off all of the time. We have lived in our house a whole year and have never finished the closets! I HATE clutter so one night I was in bed thinking "I could totally finish that closet. I have all the tools and I even have the wood. I'm DOING IT!"

ALL DONE!!! Oh yeah, it feels good to look at what a girl can do when she puts her mind to it. Now we just need some cute bins and stuff to put things in.

Allison is funny. She says weird stuff a lot and I always forget to write it down. Tonight for instance she asked me "When God made us where did He get all the STUFF?" The other night she told me her "leg pits were sweating!" And I will never EVER forget when I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said "NOTHING, JUST LIKE YOU!" Aint she sweet!
