MUD!!!
While the kids were slip and sliding they discovered the water was making a nice little mud hole to play in. I came outside to check on them and found them covered in mud! The 8 year old neighbor boy was so muddy you could only see his eyes! I was mad! So I turned the hose on full blast and squirted them down from head to toe. They didn't like it. But I sure did!

Blowing Bubbles with Friends!

Queen of Faces!

Gracie is by far the queen of making faces! She is always so animated and full of life! Even as a baby she was cracking me up.Allison is just wondering what is so fun about squirting nothing and when her turn will be.
Such sweet blue eyes!

Tadpoles & Trees!

We bought three trees this Friday. I know if Sherrie reads this she is going to ask me what kind they are. So we got a variegated box elder , vine maple, and a royal red maple. I can't believe how much they changed the look and feel of our yard. I can't wait to work on the side and back yard!
We have finally had a couple of good hot days and the girls are loving it! Gracie has been sick for a few days and has been on the couch watching cartoons so she had to miss out on the
slip & slide action. But Liv is in the shots this time.

SLIIIIIP and SLIDE!

I love watching kids slip and slide!
They look so goofy and sometimes they
just run and they forget to slide. Liv was
taking her nap so she isn't in any pictures.
But I will get some of her soon because I
can't keep that kid out of water. She
loves it! She used to crawl down the slip and
slide last year and drink the water off it like a
little puppy dog!

Picnic in Santaquin Canyon!

Joe and Sherrie came up Sunday afternoon and we went up Santaquin canyon to picnic. It was really fun and relaxing! It is so funny that when we bought the lot for our house we had no idea what a great location it was. We are literally 5 minutes from a very beautiful canyon that is not busy with people at all. In fact it is very wild up there! The road is narrow and there are parts where spring water runs right over it. It was so peaceful and gorgeous. The girls loved going on little hikes with grandma and watching grandpa cook steaks. And I LOVED eating smores! It's funny how you miss the family members that aren't with you though.
We need to plan a fun family get together for this summer!

St George Trip!

Well I thought I better stop being lazy and post
pictures of our trip last week. We left on Monday morning for St George were we met up with all of my aunts and my uncle from my Mom's side. We stayed in the new La Quinta in Bloomington. It was so fun! All of our rooms were next to each other so we could visit and play together. The pool was really fun for the kids because it had a big section that was 1 1/2 feet deep so even our runt Livie could walk around and play in the water. On Tuesday JR and I went to the St George Temple with my family so we could be with my Aunt Cathy as she took out her own endowments. We were asked to be the witness couple. It was so awesome! After the Temple we went to my Aunt Sueanne's in Bloomington and had a barbecue with everyone. We had a really good time and the food was awesome! My Mom and I went on
to Gina's house in Las Vegas and
spent the rest of the week with her. We went swimming at her mother in laws house and took the kids to the Leid Childrens Science Museum. It was a great week!

Grandma's Tile Table

Grandma's Tile Table

Tile Table

When my Grandma Johnson's house was being cleaned out we came across some extra tiles from when my Grandpa had tiled her kitchen for her. She loved blue and I'm sure she was delighted when He put up these blue white and brown tiles. Her kitchen was always where family congregated, as she was an excellent cook, and we all spent countless hours there with her and Grandpa. I remember a time when I was pregnant and my Mom and I had driven up to Provo to do some shopping. We talked about going to see grandma before we drove home and I said "Wow, you know I am really craving her apple pie right now! Wouldn't that be awesome if she had baked one today." Well as luck would have it we pulled up just as it was coming out of the oven. She didn't even know we were coming to visit! She had just felt like baking a pie. I have a zillion memories of her in her kitchen and so when her house sold I knew I needed a little piece of something that would stir up good feelings every time I looked at it. Nothing could be more perfect than tiles from her kitchen. So a couple of days ago I finally dug the tiles out and made a mosaic table for my front porch. I love it, and love having a little reminder of her.
